The first cohort's selected project under ASIBA PROJECT LABEL. Blankspace proposes new ways of living and working using vacant buildings in the city. From product development through to implementation, the team has consistently worked on the challenges and appeal unique to vacant buildings — private rooms, plumbing, windows — starting with a mobile modular space called “private pod.” Under the words “we want to bring back a sense of excitement to everyday life,” the team continues its practice of generating small living spheres in the gaps of the city, living parasitically off existing infrastructure.
