A faint spark of an idea grows, from a single sheet of paper, into new hope — cultivating the seeds of design
The Good Design New Hope Award is a program that supports the activities of a new generation shaping the future of the design field. In partnership with the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, ASIBA works to expand the base of future design talent and create a “chain of creation” through the award, positioned as a platform giving winners an accumulation of experience and knowledge, and a place to keep being active. “New Hope Idea Workshop” is a two-hour, hands-on workshop for anyone who wants to enter the Good Design New Hope Award but isn't confident in their work or idea, and isn't sure what or how to improve. Participants nurture and grow their ideas together with past winners of the New Hope Award. Open to students of any faculty or major, the workshop is aimed at anyone eligible to apply for the Good Design New Hope Award who wants to grow and expand the idea inside them.
