A director role responsible for planning and driving multiple projects, moving creative questions toward social implementation across fields.
POSITION
This position involves planning, organizing, and driving multiple projects.Working collaboratively with stakeholders—including ASIBA’s partner companies and local governments—you will develop prototypes and pilot projects based on design research, as well as drive client projects forward. This role is ideal for individuals with cross-disciplinary conceptual and implementation skills who find fulfillment in giving shape to creative questions and bringing them to life.

PAST PROJECTS
暗渠商店街 U35実践アイデアコンペティション | ASIBA
駒込駅周辺の5つの商店街の下に、かつて谷田川が流れていた。川は暗渠となって地表から消えたが、道の蛇行や地形のわずかな起伏に、その痕跡は今も残る。 「このままでは街の動きが止まってしまう」。田端銀座に隣接する町会の人々が抱いたその危機感を出発点に、暗渠を軸に商店街群を「面」として捉え直し、その未来像を問うアイデアコンペティションを設計した。「まきコンペ」連携のもと、アイデア提案者を地域に巻き込みながら、身近ながらも長期的な視座で種をまいていく。全国から59作品から、まちあるきワークショップ、住民との構想会議、公開審査を経て9組が選出され、現在「ANKYOBATION」として実装フェーズへ移行している。
解築停留所 @高島第七小学校 | ASIBA
解体が決まった廃校に、記憶をどう受け継ぐか。 2025年、高島平団地に隣接する旧高島第七小学校の解体が決まった。1979年に開校し2007年に閉校、18年間活用されないまま残っていたこの校舎に、最後の時間をともに過ごそうとする人々が集まった。「やっぱり寂しいですね」と呟きながら、卒業生が教育目標の貼り紙を手に取る。「解築停留所」は、材を譲り、床をほどき、廃校に泊まり、作品をつくる。消えゆく場所への応答の記録だ。解体を終わりとしてではなく、材と記憶が地域に受け継がれる始点として捉え直す。
YOHJOH (Kameido) | ASIBA
都市の流動性、社会との距離感 成長時代の躯体が余っていく。古代ローマのコロッセオが、時代の流れとともに要塞や集合住宅へと姿を変えたように、20世紀の建築時代が残した「ビル」という遺産は、21世紀の解築時代の大地となる。僕らは目の前に広がる都市の骨格にしがみついて寄生する。 数年後に解体が予定されている亀戸の空きビルを「開拓」し、それまでの暫定利用という形でASIBAの新拠点をつくる。ここでは、職住近接、利用者と設計者の一致、シェアではなく流動的な所有による＜個＞の定着といった実践や、社会から守られた「制作の場」と社会へと接続するための「実証の場」の共存を掲げて、クリエイティブ･アントレプレナーが集い、イマを問い直す。

Work Location | Hybrid (in-person and online) (We recommend coming into the office in person at least once a week) When working in person, the assignment will be at the Kameido Office (4-chome, Kameido, Koto-ku, Tokyo; 10-minute walk from Kameido Station). |
Estimated Compensation | Monthly Salary: 100,000–250,000 yen *For employment contract positions where this is the primary office, enrollment in various insurance programs is provided (Health Insurance, Employees’ Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance, Workers’ Compensation Insurance). *For contract work, compensation is paid based on performance rather than an hourly rate. We will adjust your workload according to your desired salary, so please feel free to discuss this with us. |
